1965 Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird Golden Poly Mist

$3,350.00
sold out

1965 Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird in Golden Poly Mist. This guitar is absolutely amazing and weighs in at a feather light 6.6lbs.

This guitar wasn't refinished due to a neck break. When we purchased the guitar locally, it had been stripped down to the bare wood and needed to be repainted. The only original paint that remained was inside the body cavity. Scraping away at the shielding paint inside the cavity revealed that this guitar was originally in Golden Poly, so I decided to go with its period correct custom shop color. Tim from Bilt guitars took the extra time and love to refin this for me and did an amazing job.

Pickups are original, but the neck was dead, so had it rewound. One of the pots has been changed, but the others are original to the guitar. Comes in a newer Gibson USA firebird case.
