1933 B series National Triolian Resonator Brown Frost Duco Mandolin

$1,748.00
sold out

Up for sale is a 1933 National Triolian serial number 53B  in the rarest of finishes "Brown Frost Duco”

B series Nationals in the "Brown Frost Duco” finishes hardly ever come up for sale. They are the absolute rarest and most desirable finish that these instruments come in..and they were made in a very small limited quantity in 1933.

Overall this is great shape for its age. This needs a little love before it can be played. The tuner button are getting very brittle. As you can see in the photos, one of the buttons has been replaced already. Along with that, the low G slot on the biscuit bridge has worn down and is slipping out of it's slot as well. Could just need to be re-filed or simply replaced as well.

The Mando comes in a very nice zipper molded case.
